Route A
From North East (i.e Venice or Bologna)
From Bologna take the highway A1 to Florence until you
reach the
exit
to FIRENZE SCANDICCI.
Fork right and follow the main road to PISA-LIVORNO.
Follow the road until you reach the
exit
leading to the the
highway GENOVA - ROSIGNANO.
Take the highway following the direction to ROSIGNANO.
Leave the highway in ROSIGNANO and
*take
the way leading to CECINA-GROSSETO-ROMA until you reach
the
exit
to CECINA NORD.

Take the road to VOLTERRA.
Continue along this road until CASINO DI TERRA and
straight over. After about 2 miles turn left to a
country lane leading to GELLO- FATTORIA DELLA VIGNA. The
first farmhouse you meet on the right side of the road
(after about 1 mile) is your goal. |

Route B
From North East (i.e Venice or Bologna)
Should you prefer a charming
(slow) country road along which you can meet San Gimignano
and Volterra, you may prefer the following direction
From Bologna take the highway A1 to Florence until you reach
the
exit
to FIRENZE CERTOSA.
Take the main road to SIENA until you reach the
exit
to COLLE VAL D'ELSA. After
aabout 1 mile take a right fork to VOLTERRA. Continue along
this road until you reach VOLTERRA and straight over towards
CECINA. Driving along this road you meet two small towns
(Saline and Ponteginori). Once you reach Ponteginori
straight over for about 2 miles more until you reach (turn
right) the country lane leading to GELLO- FATTORIA DELLA
VIGNA.
The first farmhouse you meet on the right side of the
road (after about 1 mile) is your goal.
Route C
From North WEST (i.e Milano - Genova)
Take the
highway leading to Rome until you reach the
exit
to ROSIGNANO.
From now, you can follow the direction after
*
in Route A.
Route D
From South (i.e Roma)
Take the main
road leading to CIVITAVECCHIA- GROSSETO- LIVORNO until you
reach the
exit
to
CECINA NORD. From now you can follow the direction after
